Yogi Tea

Ingredients:
Fill a 2l pot with water (a standard large soup pot) then add:
2 heaping tablespoons of black peppercorns
2 heaping tablespoons of green cardamom (crack the pods w/ a rolling pin or roll a jar across them to open them up a bit)
2 scant tablespoons of cloves
1 large handful of cinnamon sticks
2-5 inches of fresh ginger root (in slices)
Directions:
Boil these ingredients for 1-2 hours with the lid partially on the pot. When finished add a pinch of black tea. Let the brew cool. Strain it, pour into jars and store in the refrigerator. Serve hot or cold with milk & honey or your fave vegan substitute & sweetener. This will save you from sugar and caffeine as this Ayurvedic brew is a new product with a variety of medicinal qualities.
1. Drink straight (no milk or honey) first thing in the a.m. to flush the kidneys and liver
2. Drink it hot with milk or rice milk as our complement during the day, diminishes colds
3. Without milk or honey dilute and give to a baby for teething pain
4. In the summer time make an ice tea by mixing ½ yogi tea, ½ apple juice, and ice, refreshing summer drink. 5. Drink instead of coffee for morning drink w/ black tea.
Vegan coconut dahl
Ingredients:
2 cups red/ yellow lentils
8 cups water
1 bay leaf
1 can of coconut milk
curry powder to taste
garlic, onions, salt to taste
Directions:
Clean beans and boil water. Add beans and bay leaf to boiling water and cook until the beans are soft. Add all other ingredients and salt to taste.

Courgette Soup
Ingredients:
For 3 persons…
450g Courgette
fresh herbs
lemon juice
60g rice
150g onions
salt to taste
1 big spoon of miso
cumin seeds + powder
curry leafs|
turmeric
Directions:
Make a nice masala with oil (ghee), add all spices, onions, salt. Then add water, courgettes and rice and let it boil on low fire. When the soup is cooked, mix it. Add miso, fresh herbs and lemon juice just before serving.
Semolina Cake
Ingredients:
For 6 people…
1/2l milk
1/2l water
180g Semolina
60g Polenta
90g butter
150g raw cane sugar
2 handful dry raisins
turmeric powder
cardamon powder
2-3 pears
2 handful crushed almond nuts
Directions:
Mix water, milk, semolina, polenta and dry raisins. In a second pot on low fire mix water, butter, turmeric, cardamon and sugar until you have a nice paste. Then mix everything together and add pieces of pears and your crushed almond nuts. Put it in the oven at 180C for 30-40min – let it cool down afterwards. Enjoy!
